The New Fred and Barney Show: The Complete Series

 

Almost 20 years after its television debut, Hanna-Barbera brought THE FLINTSTONES back to television in 1979 under the title THE NEW FRED AND BARNEY SHOW. This collection contains all 17 episodes of the "revival" series which captured the essence of what made the original series such an enduring fan favorite. 

As a fan of the original series even though it was before my time, I really enjoyed this run. There is just something about the Flintstones I just can't help but love. Maybe it is the prehistoric times, maybe it is just how simple Fred wants things in life and tries to over come everything that gets put in front of him. This is a very good set and I highly recommend picking it up. We really do need to show our kids cartoons from our time....or before it lol.
