Thunderheart [4K UHD + Digital Insert]

FBI agent Ray Levoi is thrust into a strange new world when he is sent to solve a murder on an Indian reservation. Hand-picked because of his part-Sioux ancestry, Levoi is teamed with a legendary older agent to capture a radical Indian protester. There, Levoi encounters the local sheriff and the tribe's religious leader, who knows secrets about Levoi's own lost heritage. As Levoi's awareness of the native culture grows, so does his belief that the U.S. government has framed an innocent man.

Thunderheart is a film loosely based on the events relating to the Wounded Knee incident. When followers of the AIM (American Indian Movement)  seized the South Dakota town Wounded Knee in protest against federal government policy regarding Native Americans Thunderheart explores such topics as discrimination, political activism and murder. 

I had honestly never heard of this movie until I received it to review. I can say it is not only very well done but is really good. I enjoyed movie that are based on true events especially when I get the chance to read on them and learn more about what happened and how much the story we see was changed.
