The Hitcher 4K Review! Warner Brothers Studios!
While transporting a car from Chicago to San Deigo, Jim Halsey picks up a hitchhiker named John. While driving John tells Jim he is a serial killer. Trying to figure out what to do Jim finally escapes from John. Thinking he is in the clear from John he then sees him murder an entire family. After being framed for the murders, Jim then decides to pursue John with the help of a waitress named Nash. The rivals end up in many car chases and brutal murders.
The Hitchhiker is a very interesting film that has a lot going for it. Kind of like those urban legends of the guy in the back seat. Difference being he is sitting next to you. Rutger Hauer is amazing. I enjoy a lot of his other work but to me this is one of his best.
