Michael Desiato is a very respected Judge in New Orleans. His teenage son Adam accidentally kills another teenager in a car accident. Scared Adam fleas the scene. When Adam tells Michael about it Michael tells him he has to turn himself in. When they get to the police station Michael learns the teenager Adam killed was the son of the Jimmy Baxter one of the biggest Mob bosses. Michael leaves quickly with his son and does everything he can to keep him safe. The whole time Jimmy is doing everything he can to find his sons murder. 

This series was intense. You felt for a lot of the characters. From the kid who was killed in the accident to Adam. For Michael and Jimmy both trying to help theirs sons/families. You have a man who is very serious about the law and is in the dilemma of having his son turn himself in knowing even if he does he is going to get killed and you have a man so determined to avenge his sons death. Unfortunately this show ended after season 2 and was not renewed for another season.
