April Evans is a teenage beauty pageant contestant and has been traveling trying to win as many as possible. Unfortunately she has a medical condition that has caused her paralysis of the lower body. All of the contest she enters she wins runner up. It is starting to get to her because she knows if she wasn't in a wheelchair she would win the contest. Jake Pruitt and his sons Roy and Hiram run a junkyard/towing business but they also do experiments on people and sell their organs on the black market.

April enters a local pageant, again getting runner up but Jake as attended the contest. She notices him and is kind of scared but gets through the competition. Jake has Hiram try to disable the RV they came in but he is caught but the cop who was on security. The next morning Hiram was able to loosen all the lug nuts on the driver front tire and it comes off. Hiram passes them letting Jake know they were on the side of the road. Jake pulls up offering to tow them back and get them fixed up which Clifford, Aprils dad thanks him for.

While waiting Bobby, Aprils brother goes wondering on the property and finds the lab they have there were many different people in there including an Elvis impersonator and they chloroform him. Little longer Clifford goes towards the house to be met by Roy who is mentally challenged who tells Clifford that Jake has dinner ready for the family. When he gets inside the house he sees the phone and Jake and Hiram get him with chloroform. Pat Evans then goes to check on them and gets caught with the chloroform leaving just April in the RV. Realizing she is the only one left she gets out the shotgun her dad had on the RV. Jake tries to get her to come out of the RV and she shoots at him. They finally get a plan to hookup a gas to the vent system of the RV to have her pass out. When she does they take her into the house.

April wakes up in a bedroom that turns out to have been Jakes wife. She passed away from a heart failure which could have been preventive if Jake knew someone or had more money. Jake explains the reason he took April was to fix her and make her walk again. The way he is going to do that is take the spinal fluid out of her brother and put it into her. The middle man of the black market for them is brought in and told about Bobbys heart and a pair of older kidneys. He tells Jake he has had the guy with the kidneys for a while now and Jake said they would make a great deal. Give me 15 for the kidneys he would do the heart for 40. He agrees and ask about the giant lizard and Jake said he doesn't have a lizard or you mean my pet alligator. Roy goes into the room April is in and tells her how it was his mommas room and she would read him this book about a pancake family. She tells him and his family will go to jail and get the chair and he keeps saying no while smirking. She then says she is going to tell his daddy and he says please don't he will beat me. So she tells him to get her chair for her and he does but is then caught by Jake.

She finds the knitting needles left by Jakes wife and when Jake and Hiram go in the room she stabs Hiram in the arm. They hit her with the chloroform again. And they now have started the injections. While they're out in the shed, she tries to open the door but can't and then she finds an old iron and starts knocking out the pins. Hiram hears it and goes up to find her. He goes to grab her and she hits him in the arm with the iron. He ties her to the bed calling her names like slut. Jake ask Hiram where he had been and he explains that April tried to escape and he had to tie her up which led to Jake punching him in the face. Jake puts April in his room so she can't escape. They start again that night to get as much done as possible for the transplant. Clifford who was tied up has escaped but was brought back by the sheriff. As they start Roy is told to get Hirams clamps and when he goes to do it April sweet talks him into coming up to see her. He tells her that he isn't allowed in daddys room. She said it'll be okay and that she will read to him. Excited to have the book read to him Roy runs up there. She ask Roy for the key to the room and he tells her no daddy would beat him and she hits him with a statue. She grabs the key but hears Jake coming so she covers Roy up with clothes and lays back down on the bed. She then tries to escape but runs into the alligator. She is chased by it across the property but then traps/kills it in the compactor. She is then caught by Jake. While taking her back Jake finds Roy.

They decide that she isn't worth saving and are going to farm her organs as well while doing it she throws a bottle of alcohol with a small flame on it on Jake. She gets to her mom who they have taken her eyes. While looking for her dad they run into Hiram again but escape when Clifford holds him. They never notice that Bobby is dead. April gets them to the RV and Hiram gives chase in his Torino. While trying to get away she side swipes his car to and he crashes but recovers and gives chase again. She then comes up on a log truck and baits Hiram into getting up on the RV and she moves causing him to run into it. After getting away from Hiram thinking she is free she soon realizes that Jake burnt to a crisp is on the RV. She hits the breaks and Jake goes flying out the windshield. He gets up and she runs over him. She gets away. A tow truck shows up and gets Jake and puts him in it. It also shows he has Hirams car. It is Roy. He tells Jake that he is special and that he will fix him up.

I give Blood Salvage a 2 out of 5. I liked the movie but there were a lot of problems with it. I watched it on Tubi and it looked like it was the film release not a DVD or Blu Ray one. It had a ton of picture problems. Then the audio was horrible. At first it was fine then it seems like they are in a room with a bad echo. A few shots you see the Mic Boom and in the scene where April tries going downstairs to escape you see an extra hand grab the railing. The idea is great but the characters were stereotyped. The Pruitts were hillbilly hicks who killed people. Not really original by then. I truly believe that Warner Brothers took the character of Roy for the WCW movie Ready to Rumble. Jimmy Kings son Frankie was almost the same character. It is a fun little watch but nothing more than a one time deal. Again it is free to watch on Tubi so at least there was nothing spent on it. Also Evander Holyfield is not only in it but a producer lol.
