The crew has built up a new home and is trying to recover from the last battle with Thanos. Unfortunately Peter Quill has not been able to get past losing Gamora. While not being on their guard, Adam Warlock invades and hurts Rocket badly. After being stabbed by Nebula he flees. Now Quill and the rest of the crew are going to try and find a code that can heal Rocket. While trying to get the code they find out Rocket was created and who his creator is. They find out it is someone known only as the High Evolutionary. He has created this world and is unhappy with it as he is trying to make the perfect world. He is going to destroy it and start over. There isn't much time and they have to find, defeat the High Evolutionary before he destroys the planet to create a new one. Will they save Rocket? Will they save Earth? Will they save themselves???

Being a fan of the Marvel franchise I like this movie. The humor they put in with Drax is probably my favorite stuff. From the kickball scene to the couch scene amongst others. I love that we got a backstory for Rocket and how he was created. What he went through before becoming a Guardian. The freaking costumes and make-up effects are so good. There are guards outside of the Arete that remind me of Bebop and Rocksteady from TMNT. I can't wait to see what they are going to come up with next as so much can happen.

I give Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 easily 3.5 out of 5. I like the story of Rocket. The side stories of characters like Adam Warlock. I would like to see more origin stories especially for Drax.


 I streamed this movie on Vudu but it is going to be released August 1st from what I have read. It will be $29.96 and with be 4K, Blu-Ray and Digital.
