Boyd Stevens is the Sherriff of a small town when the Matthews family arrives. The thing is nobody comes to this town on there own. After arriving the Matthews family soon finds out that there is something else at work here. They are brought in and told what is happening and what they can do by Boyd and Donna the head of the Colony House. They learn that no matter what you do you can't leave this town. They also learn that there are monsters that come into town to try and hunt the townsfolk. These monsters look just like them. While stuck in this town Jim Matthews starts to come up with ideas along with another newbie Jade to get out and go home. The secrets start to unfold with Victor the member who has been there the longest. Will they figure out how to leave? How to kill the monsters? Or will they be stuck forever?
From is a very good series. As of right now it is only two seasons but the second season just came out April 2023. I really like the character development in this show. The diversity is amazing. Seeing the different views of each characters and how a lot of them have become content with living there instead of trying to find a way home. I like the idea behind how they all got there and the little things you can pick up as the show goes along. There are more than just monsters they have to deal with which is a good thing because if they only dealt with the monsters without dealing with the struggle of the daily life it probably wouldn't be as good. They have confirmed season three to hopefully be released in the Summer of 2024.
As of this writing there isn't a physical release just yet but hopefully we get one. This is one I would buy for sure. The twist, the multiple story lines going on, the characters and the ideas are fantastic. If you like this review please hit the follow button, share the page and leave a comment!
