Star Wars Episode IV New Hope!

 Star Wars Episode IV New Hope! Directed and written by George Lucas. Cast, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Peter Cushing, Alec Guinness, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, David Prowse and James Earl Jones.

A long time ago in a galaxy far away there was a civil war between the Rebel Alliance and The Empire. Spies for the Alliance stole the plans for the Death Star. Princess Leia who was undercover spy got the plans but her ship was intercepted by the Empire controlled by Darth Vader. Before her capture she hid the plans inside a droid named R2-D2. R2-D2 left in a pod with C-3PO for Tatooine. 

Unfortunately they are captured by Jawas who sell them to Owen and Beru Lars. They had their nephew Luke clean up the droids and he discovers a holographic image/recording or Leia asking for help from Obi Wan Kenobi. Later R2-D2 comes up missing and Luke is attacked by the Sand People but is saved by Old Ben Kenobi. Ben tells Luke that Obi Wan is his real name and how he used to be a Jedi and kept peace for the Galactic Republic who drew powers from an energy field known as The Force. He explained how they were hunted to near extinction. Luke finds out his dad fought with Obi Wan as a Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars until Vader turned to the Dark Side and forced Obi Wan to murder him. Obi Wan offers Luke his fathers lightsaber as used by the Jedi Knights.

R2-D2 plays Leias full recording were she begs Obi Wan to take the plans to Alderaan and give them to her father for further analysis. Obi Wan offers Luke to come with and learn how to use The Force which he at first declines but after discovering Storm Troopers killed his aunt he had no choice but to go. Traveling to a cantina in Mos Eislel to find transport they end up hiring Han Solo. Han is a smuggler for mobster Jabba the Hutt. Chased by Storm Troopers Luke, Obi Wan, R2-D2, C-3PO, Han and his right hand Chewbacca escape on the Millennium Falcon.

Full speed to Alderaan but before they make it Commander Tarkin destroys it to show power after interrogating Leia for the Rebel Alliances base. Upon arrival the Falcon is captured but the Death Stars tractor beam. Everyone onboard hides in the ships smuggling bay to keep from being taken. Obi Wan decides he will disable the tractor beam while Luke talks Han and Chewy into helping him find and rescue Leia when he finds out she is set to be executed. After disabling the tractor beam Obi Wan goes to fight Vader in a lightsaber duel in which he is not successful but it allows the group to escape from the Death Star. Using a tracker the Death Star finds that the Falcon lands on Yavin IV the Rebels secret base. 

The plans Leia stole shows there is a weakness in the Death Stars thermal exhaust port. Which with a perfect proton torpedo strike would cause a chain reaction to its main reactor.  Han abandons them after receiving his bounty for Leia. Luke joins the X-Wing Starfighter Squadron in the attack on the Death Star. The Rebels suffer a lot of casualties as Vader leads a group of Tie Fighters. Out of nowhere the Han and Chewy show back up in the Falcon and knock Vader ship off course before he shoots down Lukes X-Wing. Guide by Obi Wans voice Luke uses the Force, shoots his proton torpedoes to hit the exhaust port destroying the Death Star before it destroyed the Rebels base. Back at the base there is a ceremony for Luke, Han and Chewy. Leia awards them medals for their bravery.
