The police still haven't found Katie after she killed her sister Kristi and Daniel her husband. They also haven't found Hunter who Katie kidnapped after killing them in 2006. In 2011 Alex Nelson is living in a rich suburb in Nevada with her dad Doug, mom Holly little brother Wyatt. Alex starts recording video on her laptop after many strange incidents Alex and her best friend Ben put up a bunch of cameras around the house. Robbie who is the neighbors son stay with the Nelson family while his mom is in the hospital. Wyatt tells Alex that Robbie has a friend named Tobi. Alex later finds Robbie in a closet saying "He doesn't like you watching us". Scary thing Wyatt mentions how he has met Tobi and shows her the a green mark on his back. The mark was identical to a Hittites symbol which was to prepare the victim for possession. They learn that the ritual for possession requires a virgin blood sacrifice. Crazy thing is its revealed Robbie is actually Katie's son. Wyatt was told by her that both of them were adopted and that Robbie's family wants him back now. He begins to argue with something that seems to be not there about his real name. Of which he says I am not Hunter! As the days go on the incidents get more intense. Wyatt goes into a trance and Alex levitates. Katie shows up and tells Wyatt that she will wait for him to be ready.  Alex goes to show her parents the footage but is confused why it is erased. While Doug and Alex are gone Holly gets thrown onto the ceiling. Ben shows up and tells them the symbol is a in relation to a coven but then Katie snaps his neck. After dinner Alex and Doug return home. Doug goes next door because he thought he saw Holly and Wyatt. Alex finds Bens body. She is knocked down and dragged by something. She runs out of the house sees Doug being dragged away. She goes looking for him and starts hearing Wyatt's voice then Katie appears running towards her in the hallway. Alex escapes by jumping out of the window. She sees Wyatt and a crowd of women walking towards her. She tries to leave but Katie is behind her. Camera falls to the ground and it stops.

In 2012 Jesse Arista, her dad Cesar, sister Evette and grandma Irma live in an apartment in California. They believe that Ana the woman who lives in an apartment below them is a witch. When Ana is found murdered Jesse his friend Hector see a Oscar another guy from their school running from the area. Jesse and Hector search the apartment to find black magic stuff, VHS tapes and journals about how to open "unholy gateways". Jesse, Hector and their friend Marisol try a ritual. At Jesses the trio play a game to speak with something unknown. Jesse notices a bite mark on his arm and that he now has powers of strength and levitating. Jesse takes a girl to Ana's apartment to have sex when they are confronted by Oscar. Oscar has black eyes and bite marks. Scares the girl away and tells Jesse it won't be much longer before they harm everything they love. Oscar then jumps off the building and dies. The group finds a hidden door in Ana's apartment where they find her Altar. They find random pictures of Jesse, his mom, Ana and Lois. One night Jesse is lured in the room where he finds young Katie and Kristi both with black eyes and then is attacked. Jesse slowly starts getting more violent and suicidal. Hector and Marisol are scared for him and talk with Hectors brother Arturo. Arturo explains that Oscar was talking with Ali Rey who was researching demons after her fathers death. Ali tells them Jesse is marked by the midwives who have been brainwashing women to give up their firstborn sons. She tells them of a pace to go where the last ritual will take place and that Jesse will die if the demon consumes him fully and completes the ritual. Irma is shoved down the stairs by Jesse and is rushed to the hospital. He then attacks Hector but gets knocked out by Marisol. They try to leave and a van smashes into their car and Jesse is taken. Hector, Marisol, Arturo and Santo goes to the final location which is Lois house. The coven rushes them but Arturo shoots them. Hector, Marisol run into the house leaving Arturo by himself. They find Santo is dead and then Marisol is killed. Hector runs into what looks like Ana and then is chased by Jesse. He runs into a room but Jesse breaks the door down then he runs into a marked brown door. After going through the door he ends up back in time in Katie and Micah's kitchen. Hector sees Katie but can't get her attention, but when Katie does see Hector she screams. Micah comes running in tackles Hector. Katie stabs Micah to death and Hector tries to escape only to be attacked by Jesse. The camera falls only to be picked up by a witch and turned off.

Paranormal Activity Ghost Dimensions. Directed by Gregory Plotkin and written by Brantley Aufill, Jason Harry Pagen and Andrew Deutschman.

In 1988 Katie and Kristi watch their moms boyfriend Dennis get his spine crushed by a force unknown. Their grandma Lois took them upstairs while an entity takes the camera. They meet a man who talks to them about Tobi and how they are an important part of his plan. Now in 2013 Ryan Fleege, his wife Emily and daughter Leila are about to have Christmas when Ryan's brother Mike moves in after a breakup with his girlfriend. Skylar who is with them notices Leila talking to "Tobi". Mike finds a random box of VHS tapes dated from 88-92. The tapes show Katie, Kristi, Julie and Dennis and others show Lois's house where the girls have abilities  and are talking to an unknown man. Ryan and Mike notice that the girls know they are there and they are able to foresee everything Ryan and Mike action while watching. While Leila continues to talk with Tobi, Ryan catches stuff on video like a black figure hovering above Leila which she ends up talking too. Skylar is attacked by it. Ryan and Emily notice a slab that has "Katie, Kristi 1987" etched into it. Realizing their house has been built where Katie and Kristi's old house was. The old house was bought by the coven known as the Midwives. Leila doesn't talk much so they call father Todd of which Leila attacks him. He strongly believes it is the demon Tobi. Ryan does some research and finds that the cult had killed a family in Nevada  related to a buy named Hunter who happened to be born on the same day as Leila. Odd thing is Hunter is in a tape from 1992 but wasn't born until 2005. Ryan learns Tobi needs Leila's blood to finish the ritual. Leila opens a door to another world and disappears but they find her and flee to a hotel. Father Todd tries to cleanse the house and trap Tobi but is strangled and taken away leaving it up to the family to finish the cleansing. Ryan is able to trap Tobi with a white sheet covered in holy water and he releases Leila and then disappears. After thinking everything is now over, Skylar begins to vomit blood on on Mike that burns him and kills them both. Leila scared runs and Ryan chases her but is killed by a large arm impaling his chest. Leila runs into a portal and Emily follows. They arrive in Katie's and Kristi's mothers house in 1992. She finds young Katie and human form Tobi. She pleads to Tobi to let Leila go instead she is killed. You see Leila and Tobi walk off camera before it shuts off.

Again these aren't my cup of tea. They aren't horrible movies and I do like they way they have tied them together. I would give these 3 movies all around a 2.5 out of 5.
