Cocaine Bear! Universal!

In 1985 a drug dealer flying over Knoxville TN drops millions of dollars in cocaine in gym bags. When attempting to jump out the plane with a bag of cocaine strapped to himself he hits his head on the bar and knocks himself out falling to his death. He is identified by local officer Bob as Andrew C Thornton II. Bob comes to the conclusion that the drugs must be from drug lord Syd White. Meanwhile two hikers Elsa and Olaf have come across a black bear acting very strange. The bear has apparently gotten into the cocaine and has become very aggressive. He attacks them tearing Elsa apart but gets distracted by a butterfly which allows Olaf to escape.

Skipping school Dee Dee and Henry are going to the park to paint a picture of the falls. They come across a brick of cocaine. Henry saying he does it all the time on the streets. Dee Dee says she is going to do it but wants to know how and Henry tells her to eat it. After putting a spoon full in her mouth she spits it out and tells Henry to do it. After Henry does it he starts trying to spit something up they hear a sound that was not Henry. When they turn around they see the bear. Trying to stay calm the bear sneezes on them freaking them out and the run. 

Sari, Dee Dees mother trying to find her figures out she went to the park. When she gets there she talks to the park Ranger Liz and Peter a wild life activist. They find Henry way up in a tree. He tells them about the bear and they didn't believe him. The bear then attacks Liz taking a bite out of her backside. Peter climbs up another tree and Sari hides behind the tree Henry is on. The bear starts climbing the tree to get Henry and after being kicked in the face he starts to smell the cocaine on Peter. Jumps down and goes after Peter. He starts ripping him apart which gives Henry and Sari a chance to leave.

Syd sends Daveed his right hand man to recover the rest of the cocaine. He takes Eddie, Syds son with him. Eddie is in a bad place right now. With the death of his wife and he abandoned his son. It has put him in a very depressed state. When they get to Park station Daveed goes to the restroom and the Duchamps gang tell him to empty his pockets. After telling them no multiple times including giving them the finger they decide to attack him. He beats them all down. In the process he is stab in the shoulder. Eddie walks in and finds them all beat down and checks to make sure they are alive and finds a brick of cocaine. They begin to question Stache one of the Duchamps and end up scaring him into going with them to show where they had hid the rest of the cocaine. 

Back at the station Liz runs into the other two Duchamps gang members and tells them they need to call for help which they already had. When she hears something at the door she tells Ponytail when she says open the door to open it and she is going to shoot. She yells open it and shoots Ponytail in the back of the head. Freaking out Vest the other Duchamps closes the door. But the bear ends up slaughtering Vest. Paramedics make it to the station and get Liz after a confrontation with the bear. They try and leave with Liz but the bear goes after them and jumps into the ambulance. Tom is killed, Liz is dragged to her death and Beth loses control of the ambulance, crashes into a tree and is throw out the windshield to her death.

Sari and Henry find Dee Dee because she left a paint trail. Daveed and Eddie are taken to a gazebo where the Duchamps left the rest of the cocaine they had. They run into Bob. After a standoff and a couple of fingers lost Daveed says that the bear is there. Bob comes up with the idea to throw a brick of cocaine over to him and tells Stache to get out of there. But after he does he gets shot but not by Daveed by Syd. Syd tells Daveed and Eddie he is being pressured by higher ups to retrieve all the cocaine. Sari and Henry find Olaf mourning the loss of Elsa and he leads them to Dee Dee in a den with bear cubs. Eddie, Daveed and Syd find the cave and that is leads to out to a ledge behind the falls. the bear returns to the cave, Sari, Henry and Dee Dee jump to get away. Eddie and Daveed follow saying they quite the drug game however Syd refuse to leave the cocaine with the bear and shoots it. Unfortunately for Syd it only wounded the bear it didn't kill the bear. Syd is disemboweled by the bear.

Later you see Stache hitchhiking to New York carrying one of the gym bags of cocaine while Eddie and Daveed reunite Bobs dog with his son.

Man I was excited to see this movie and now that I have I can say this. It is not a horror film like they said. Yes it is gory but it is like action, comedy with gore. I had a hard time focusing on it. Wasnt a fan of it at all. I couple of funny moments Eddies tattoo, Daveeds fight at the station with the Duchamps and the bear falling on Eddie. I give this movie a 2 out of 5. Truly happy I watched it on Peacock and didn't by it. At the time of writing this you can either watch on Peacock for free or by on Amazon for $23.
